Phanthom Punch

“Phanthom Punch” is a oil paint print by Tom Baker. This painting is originally sketched then digitally enhance in oil and printed on canvas. My prints are printed on acid-free papers using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of color. Our giclee prints are slated to last up to 200 years, so make sure you pick art that the great-grandchildren will like. A fine art giclee print is a valid investment when the cost of an original artwork is too high, it’s a lower price point to all my customers, while maintaining the quality and originality of my work.

Description

Original fine art drawing by Tom Baker. This one-of-a-kind Oil Painting on canvas measures 24″ W x 30″ H inches. This was my first oil painting right out of Art School. Was blessed to have a most talented art teacher Harold Steveson! This painting has Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston fighting for the world heavyweight title. The one first took place on February 25, 1964, where Ali (then Cassius Clay) won by technical knockout in the seventh round to capture the title. The second occurred on May 25, 1965, ending in a controversial first-round knockout via the infamous “Phantom Punch”.The painting ships in a box directly from the artist’s studio.
